Water service is provided to households and businesses located within the boundaries of the Town. Meters are read monthly, and bills are mailed at the end of each month. Payment is due on the 21st. Waste Pro has been the Town’s Solid Waste provider since July 2006. Solid Waste includes Recycle collection every Wednesday and Trash and Yard Debris collection every Thursday. Solid waste pickup is included in the monthly utility bill. Checks or money orders can be mailed to Micanopy Town Hall at PO Box 137, Micanopy, FL 32667-0137. Do Not Mail Cash. Debit and credit cards are not accepted. You may also visit Town Hall during office hours: Monday through Thursday 7:30am – 6:00pm.

For your convenience, please use the inside Utility Drop Box in the downstairs hallway or the outside Utility Drop Box located on the northwest corner of Town Hall near the handicapped entrance. For security purposes, ONLY CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED IN THE DROP BOX – NO CASH IS ACCEPTED IN THE DROP BOX. Checks received in the Utility Drop Box will be processed each regular business day and will be treated the same as having paid inside at the counter or having been received by mail.
Payments received after the due date will incur a 10% late fee. Water that is shut off due to nonpayment will incur a $25 reconnect charge and will require an increase in the account deposit. Contact Town Hall during office hours for information on opening or closing a water account:
